This institution is situated within Palakkad municipality and is about 3kms away from railway station and about 5kms away from Palakkad bus stand. Devikripa is the brain child of Late Dr.K. Balagopalan Nayar, an eminent well-known ayurvedic physician who was the living dictionary of ayurvedic therapies of his time. The institution provides all authentic ayurvedic therapies along with yoga and pranayama, life-style managements, acupuncture, acupressure and stress relieving techniques.
Devikripa is not merely a hospital which helps ones to treat and cure the specific health issues, but is a lifelong companion to help in physical, psychological and spiritual well being.

Dr.K.Balagopalan Nayar (late), the founder of Devikripa Ayurveda Hospital, had the vision and insight as to what the requirement of the present day generation would be almost four decades ago. An eminent doctor with the art of perfect diagnosis, an innovative physician, and an excellent teacher. By constant RE-SEARCH of the ancient scriptures of Ayurveda, he identified those combinations which were apt and quick acting suiting the present era.
The preceding generations of founder were marked by stalwarts of Ayurveda like Late Eechara Mannadiyar and Late Kunzhikrishna Menon. They chose to pass their wisdom and expertise to the future generation represented by our
beloved founder Dr. K. Balagopalan Nayar alias Dr. K. B. G. Nayar , with their whole hearted blessings and benevolence that is in confirmation with the tradition of the original propounders of Ayurveda. Dr.K.B.G.Nayar has been a constant guide for Dr. Smitha Nair and Dr.Anurag Talwar through out.

The dictionary of ayurvedic formularies and diagnosis is the retired Chief Medical Officer from the Indian Systems of Medicine Department.
Dr. M.K Devaki (Late), the consort of the founder of Devikripa Ayurveda Hospital was well known for her expertise in clinical practice. The skill of apt diagnosis and the art of prescribing exact, needed and limited prescriptions adds a feather to her career. Dr. M.K Devaki served for kerala government for more than 25years and retired as Chief Medical Officer. Dr. M.K Devaki has been a constant adviser for Dr. Smitha Nair and Dr.Anurag Talwar throughout.
Dr. Smitha Nair MSc, BAMS, MD
Dr. Smitha is a talented, skilled and very learned individual with vast knowledge of the ayurvedic sciences and human physiology. She has been able to build and grow the Devikripa association with time and effort over the last several years.
As part of her continuous thirst for knowledge she has attained several degree, accolades and awards in the past few years. She has also delivered lectures in many places including a few middle- east countries.
She is a graduate in science and ayurveda, post graduate in yoga, acupuncture and clinical psychology.

Dr Anurag is a perfect partner for the talented and learned Dr.Smitha. She is exceptionally knowledgeable on the human psychology and the art of Yoga.
Along with being knowledgeable and skilled at the art of ayurveda and medicine making, she ensures every patient she treats has her complete attention and is
always ready to answer their queries with her wit and humour. She is able to manage and run the Devikripa institution with a lot of passion, hard work and ensuring teamwork. She is a graduate in ayurveda and is excellent in counselling and yoga teaching.
